The program aims to provide socio-economic empowerment to tribal women through women & adolescent groups, their promotion & livelihood enhancement / micro entrepreneurship initiatives. It builds their confidence & self-belief while demonstrating the power of collectivization. Apart from skilling and pooling of resources, they are guided on revenue generation and given linkages to avenues for marketing.

During and post COVID peoples were loss their livelihood option. Migrant families were back to their villages. They don't have any alternate option to secure their livelihood. To keep it in mind, SADHAN (Institute for Social Change) provided training on Organic Vegetable Farming by which people able to initiate vegetable production to secure their livelihood. Through this program SADHAN (Institute for Social Change) covered 283 households.

 Mushroom production can convert the huge lignocellulosic waste materials into a wide diversity of products, protecting and regenerating the environment. 


Mushroom is the profitable agro-business which required less investment but high return. Hence SADHAN (Institute for Social Change) provided EDP training on Mushroom cultivation to 58 vi

Mushroom is the profitable agro-business which required less investment but high return. Hence SADHAN (Institute for Social Change) provided EDP training on Mushroom cultivation to 58 violence affected adolescents and women.


Now 23 beneficiaries were establish their mushroom cultivation unit and secure their livelihood

To live with dignity, every person need Food, Cloth, Shelter, Education and Health. In the matter of cloth, every person need to be stich his/her cloth to save his/her body.

To keep it in mind, SADHAN (Institute for Social Change) conducted Cutting and Tailoring Training & Dress Designing and Garment Making Training for violence affected women and Adolescents. 


Since inception SADHAN (Institute for Social Change) capacitate 127 beneficiaries on these trade. Out of them 86 using this capacity to secure their livelihood.

 The onion cultivation is the major source of livelihood in Odisha. Most of the people cultivate onion in their backyard. To keep it in mind, SADHAN (Institute for Social Change) conducted pilot model with 15 women

Now SADHAN (Institute for Social Change) taking support from experts to make it successful business.

 Banana Farming, Soil for bananas should have good drainage, adequate fertility, and moisture. 


 Banana plant takes approximately nine months to mature and produce fruit however it is important to manage the process. SADHAN (Institute for Social Change) initiate pilot program on Banana farming.

Most of the tribal families were keep goat and country chicken in their home to use it during different annual occasion in their home.


Goat farming is the better business, which provide more income. Hence SADHAN (Institute for Social Change) link 11 violence affected women with financial institutions to start goat farming program.
